Mount Leach

While the mountain lacks a scenic peak and views, its rainforest coverage offers its own charm. Bushwalkers can enjoy a cliff near the summit offering panoramic views.

Mount Leach

Location - Paluma Range National Park, North Queensland, Australia
Distance - ~20 kilometres return
Duration - Allow 4-8 hours
Grade - 4, medium to hard

The best way to summit Mount Leach is via Foxlee's Track. But Mount Leach is essentially just a hump, not a picturesque peak like others in the area. It is covered in rainforest and has no view. However, there is a boulder to climb just off the summit, which may appeal to those who are keen and is technically the highest point. Also, nearby is a cliff face that provides views of the National Park.
