Paluma Range National Park Patterson Gorge Patterson Gorge is the headwaters Black River. The upper reaches are filled with boulder-lined streams with steep valley sides. The catchment area then trickle down the range passing under the Greenvale Line bridge and reaching the bottom of Hervey Range where the river turns into a sandy bottom.
Paluma Range National Park Bluewater Creek and its Gorge Many people know of Bluewater for the four wheel driving along Forestry Road, access to the PRB track, and the swimming holes along the Bluewater Creek, but seemingly only a few know about the gorge.
Paluma Range National Park The PRB Track - Paluma Rollingstone Bluewater This track goes along the old Bluewater Forestry Road to the Paluma township. On the south side of the range it follows the Bluewater Range Track. It is currently overgrown and disused.

This fantastic getaway into the middle of nowhere is beautiful but yet extremely challenging for the 4WDers.
