Paluma Range National Park The Journey to Godwin's Peak At 783 metres elevation and about 8 km of hiking, Godwin's Peak has to be the best mountain summit in all of Paluma Range National Park and is certainly a magical part of North Queensland. You'll be rewarded with 360-degree panoramic views of Mt Halifax, Townsville City, and the coast.
Members only Clemant State Forest Mount Cataract The eastern ridgeline offers an easy assent and provides views of the surrounding countryside as you gain in elevation. The summit of Mount Cataract is at an elevation of 721 m but doesn't not offer any views.
Paluma Range National Park The Link Track: Godwin's Peak, Mount Halifax, and the PRB Track This area is certainly a magical part of North Queensland. It's a strenuous walk and you'll need to be fit to climb up some steep hill sections. The bush track is rough and uneven underfoot.
